What to do if you are pulled over by an unmarked police car.

I enjoyed the video blog you recently posted about how to get out of a ticket. I frequently drive alone late at night and was curious if there were any pointers you could give me regarding unmarked police cars. Are there distinguishing lights or anything like that I can look for and be comforted that it is a legitimate police officer who is pulling me over? What actions can I take to insure my safety when getting pulled over at night in deserted areas?

Viciously beating lines of peaceful protesters with batons

Spraying kneeling protesters with mace *out of a paint sprayer*

Dragging a girl by her hair across the street (she was inciting by yelling, but still)

It's funny how you assume you know what I know. After reviewing dozens of different videos of various Occupy videos regarding police brutality I determined that yes, some of them are sensationalized, & yes, sometimes the people made aggressive actions that warranted being arrested (but not accosted). However, there ARE several instances where inappropriate and excessive actions were taken by the police.

One of the hundreds of videos shows a group of several hundred, a cop is driving through the middle of the crowd on a motorcycle, at about half a mile an hour. A hippy tries to stick his leg out infront of the tire, and fails, the cop slowly turns around his leg, then the guy falls to the ground crying brutality, and the crowd joins him. They fooled you

@SupremeAmerican You're lucky. Most people have to deal with the malicious, sadistic motherfuckers, so I don't blame them for hating cops. Hell, look at all the police brutality with OWS (regardless of how you feel about OWS, you have to admit that the force used was generally really excessive). A cop should not be SMILING as they are beating a barely-past-teenage skinny girl that doesn't have the ability to fight back, and is not being dangerous or aggressive.

@cappyjoe085271 My boyfriend got "I was just bored" as a reason one night after getting pulled over when he was coming home from work (still wearing his uniform). I understand McDonald's employees being incompetent, but I expect better quality service from licensed police professionals, dammit.

In Pensacol, FL, there were a few instances where targeted women were pulled over and sexually assaulted by men in unmarked cars. It was big shit down here.
