North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Sunday 5th April 2009

after the brilliant Barrowhill Event on the 4th, my dad decied to go fishing, in whitby, next door to the NYMR's northern terminous of Grosmont, so a visit to the NYMR was enevitable for me, so he dropped me off at Grosmont, and what a brilliant day it was to, Virtually Cloudless skies and warm weather

the on the 5th april 2009 the NYMR had their 'Silver Timetable' in operation which saw 2 locos haul trips along the NYMR, they were

GWR 66XX Class 0-6-2 6619
NER Q6 Class 0-8-0 63395

also heres the Plan i did;

10:30 Grosmont - Pickering Hauled by 6619
12:00 Pickering - Goathland Hauled by 6619
12:50 Goathland - Pickering Hauled by 63395
14:00 Pickering - Grosmont hauled by 63395

in the video we see the 2 locos at various points on the line, either on board the train or on the stations! this is my first visit to the NYMR and the last before the Spring Steam gala, which is to star Peppercorn A1 class 60163 'Tornado' making its first ever runs with LNER teak coaches
