As the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 begins in the West Indies, UNICEF, in partnership with the International Cricket Council and UNAIDS has enlisted the help of the world's top cricketers to speak out about the impact of HIV and AIDS on children. Watch and hear what they have to say.

DANIEL VETTORI's professorial demeanour isn't simply down to the fact that he wears spectacles on the sportsfield. As New Zealand's leading spin bowler he is one of the most considered thinkers on the complex game that is cricket.

However, Daniel Vettori's horizons stretch far beyond the boundaries of the cricket pitch and that is why he has joined the International Cricket Council, UNAIDS and UNICEF in promoting the Unite for Children. Unite against Aids campaign.

  • Best number 8 in the history of the game, find another player who averages over 40 while batting at number 8 in test cricket. Last 2 years Vettori is averaging 43.
