what kind of rope do you need for this?

yeah, and tell me too! I've never understood how someone can hold a coil and twirl a rope, but everyone from Will Rogers on has done it with a large loop. And tell us about rope too, I'm using only 3/8" Manila; where do other types come from? I bought calf rope, and that is as stiff as steel cable.

Wish I could rope like you. I'm a lefty also and the only trick I can do is the butterfly. I use a poly rope mostly but I do have Samson cotton. Please tell me what type of rope you're using in the first 34 seconds while you doing a whole bunch of vertical spinning while holding coils and the rope isn't kinking up. Is is a special swivel honda? I've heard of swivels but I've never seen one. Otherwise please tell me how prevent rope kinks. Many thanks, Ron
