http://www.routecauses.com/ A creative team of filmmakers and animators has partnered with a former politician to create a new type of cartoon op-ed series. The project, titled Route Causes, follows the animated adventures of a traveling news crew, providing comedic perspective on current events. The pilot episode of Route Causes appears on YouTube with an episode about the U.S. national debt leading to hyperinflation.

  • Invest in gold bars and trade for foreign currencies before the dollar decreases even more in value?? I can understand the latter, but the former, what!? Why not invest in silver!?

  • @dijibeat we should all just barter...not that civilized but who cares it is smarter than owing 14 trillion dollars

  • Good job RouteCause...ummm, Phil is it? hope you can do some more...I'd love to see a spoof on Sarah Palin on the Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader show. (I just thought of that one a day ago LOL). When's the news crew going to NH? Have them by the state line with massachusettes people driving in and out of the package store to get tax free booze and smokes in the background. LOL. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with.

  • This is a RIOT!

  • meh

  • Very cool video

  • Buy foreign land...

  • Uhhh. Much of the national debt is from the "federal" reserve which is just a private bank with a fake government name. The country has to literally borrow its own money!!! That debt clock? That's interest, much of with is owed to the fed because the gov't doesn't print its own money, the fed does and lends it for bonds (interest incurring debt).

The second biggest source of national debt is war spending. The u.s. spends more on "defence" than ALL nations on the planet combined.
