After calling in the doctors and talking to them about the ordeal they had planned, they finally agreed and allowed them to leave. Carefully seating Taylor in a wheelchair, a nurse wheeled her away, Joe following close behind.
Pushing open two doors, they had entered a huge chapel that the hospital held for those who have people in critial care and need a time to pray.
Taylors parents sat along with Joes. They had called them into the room, Joe notifying his parents over the phone to come over for what they have planned and they happily obliged. Taylors we're in the room when everything was planned.
Taylor took a deep breath as her older sister ran in with a dress in hand, pratically out of breathe. "Hey TayTay, I got this from the attic. . . it was moms when she got married to dad. I thought that maybe you would want to use it."
She could feel her breathing shorten, tears whelming up in her eyes. . . of pure joy and happiness. "Thank you Stephanie."
"Anytime baby sister. I love you." She smiled whole-heartedly before taking off and seating herself next to her parents as she gave their mother a tight squeeze to her hand.
"Are you ready?" They called in the local priest of the hospitals, as Joe nodded standing himself next to his younger brother Nick who had just made it on time.
"Best man, eh?" Nick chuckled.
"You know it." Joe laughed as Taylor stood up slowly, holding onto the nurses hand for support, walking out with the dress in hand.
A few minutes had passed when the music had began playing softly, Joe looked up eagerly as the rest of the family set their eyes to the door.
Within seconds, Taylor made her way down her sister leading the way. Joe could feel the palms of his hands sweat. She looked breathtaking. . . even if the life was taken from her, and her vibrant colors faded, their was still that spark that held her beauty.
Arriving towards Joe, he grabbed her hand as they faced the priest.
"I know we do not have that much time in here, so I will make this as short and sweet as possible. Thank you all for coming to attend the matrimony of both Joesph Adam Jonas and Taylor Alison Swift. We bring you here today to show you the love these two young adults in front of you all bring. . . If there are any objections state them now or forever hold your peace." He waited patiently as no one said a word, nodding his head, he continued softly. "By all means, Joesph do you take Taylor to be your loftly wedded wife? To hold and care for? To respect, love and cherish for the rest of your life? In sickness or in health? For richer or for poorer? Through the good and the bad?"
"I do." Joe smiled.
"And do you Taylor take Joe to be your loftly wedded husband? To hold and care for? To respect, love and cherish for the rest of your life? In sickness or in health? For richer or for poorer? Through the good and the bad?"
"I do." Taylor smiled back sweetly.
"Now, before I prononce you both man and wife, do you guys have any rings?"
Joe nodded, rummaging into the pockets of his jeans before he pulled out a velvet box. "I guess its a good thing I didn't give you your birthday present." He winked playfully, pulling the ring out before slipping it onto her finger.
"Jo---Joe, I don't have a ring for you. . ."
"Yes, you do." Stephanie intervened walking over to them before handing Taylor a ring. "This was brads old one, but it doesnt fit him so here. I figured you didn't have one." She giggled softly.
"Thank you Steph." Taylor hugged her before turning her gaze towards Joe, pushing the ring onto his finger aswell.
"I officially pronounce you both, man and wife. Joesph, you may kiss the bride."
"No problem." Joe chuckled before pulling Taylor to him softly, his arm wrapping around her petite frame as he laid a sweet but passionate kiss to her lips. Everyone stood up, with tears in their eyes as they clapped their hands.
Taylor was finally settled back into her hospital bed, as she fiddled with the ring on her finger. "Joe, I want to rest. . . why don't you go and spend some time with your family? Keep my sister company too because shes going to go insane worrying about me."
"Alright wife." Joe grinned cheekily. "I'll be just outside." He kissed her forehead before heading off, the door clicking closed.
Setting herself in a seating position, Taylor leaned over grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. Scribbling down a few things, Taylor folded it before stuffing it into an envelope she had requested from one of the nurses.
Laying back down, she fluttered her eyes closed her hand falling off the bed slightly, the letter falling to the ground. A tear escaped her eyes as she clutched her hand into a tight fist.
