@mjbab73 It's a Northern English accent. Most likely Manchester. You know, a lot of people who aren't from England think there's only one accent, but there ain't. It's like saying America only has one accent. It's far off from a Welsh accent. I'm from England, I'm an English citizen. I think I would know. That's how a lot of us Englanders speak. Not all posh like what people assume us to be.

@mjbab73 I was not suggesting you were dissing Kate. I was merely letting you know that you had misunderstood a few things. Her accent in the film is English (Northern English) It is a million miles from a Welsh accent. It is a bit like confusing a New York accent with a Louisiana accent.
