Ross Bagdasarian (Jr) is the creator of Alvin and the Chipmunks (The Original David Seville)... Janice Karman was also there from the beginning... In fact, they are also credited in the CG versions that recently came out... So whenever you see Alvin and the Chipmunks "anything", the Bagdasarian family has their hands in it in some way! Also, between 1984 and 1985, Nancy Cartwright (aka Bart Simpson) provided additional Voices for the cartoon! Still one of my favorite Saturday morning cartoon!

@megamanj2004X I saw The Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo Show and yes, they brought back Daphne, but I still didn't care for it b/c for one, I cannot STAND Scrappy and also, they made Daphne more of a serious character and tried to make her another Fred, IMO, I just wished that they make Scrappy the center of the Scooby-Doo Shows which is why I prefer the old days of Scooby-Doo as well as A Pup Named Scooby-Doo and What's New Scooby-Doo? was OK, too
Do you agree with me on all of this? LOL

@tnawcwvictoria - yep. Also 1983 also gave us The A-Team, Mama's Family, Webster w/ Emmanuel Lewis, Hardcastle & McCormick, Riptide, Hotel, AfterM*A*S*H (the short-lived continuation of M*A*S*H), Scarecrow and Mrs. King and the farewells of M*A*S*H, Laverne & Shirley, Quincy, M.E., CHiPs, Little House on the Prairie, Taxi (which moved to NBC from ABC).
Scooby Doo became The New Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo Show and saw Daphne return to help Shaggy, Scooby & Scrappy after a 4-year absence.

@AtomicKidd85 It was made by Ruby-Spears Enterprises, which was very closely related to Hanna-Barbera. It was founded by H-B writers Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, who famously created Scooby-Doo, among other animated shows. It was bought by H-B parent Taft Broadcasting in 1981, and shared a lot of staff and production facilities with Hanna-Barbera.
