  • do you have your BCR2000 mapped to the ESI 2000? i have an ESI 2000 XL and it's the centerpiece of my setup and i'm going to get a BCR2000 for MIDI control and i'm wondering what cool functions i can control. i know i'll be able to use it for things like filters and volume control, but i'm wondering what else i can do with it creatively.

  • @TheHevquip I don't use the BCR for the ESI. I seem to remind that the possibilities for controlling the ESI by MIDI are very limited. There are very few functions that are mapped to MIDI CC data. Check the ESI MIDI implemetation for a complete list. Maybe it can respond to sys-ex data but it is very complicated to set a the BCR up to do this.

    Good luck!

  • Did you make those rack units? They are the perfect size for your desk and keep the monitors at ear level.

  • @NordicSynth Yes I made those racks myself. I also made the desk myself! It is perfect size for my setup.

  • ms-20 !!

  • @midierror Almost! It is the Korg MS20 legacy plugin midi controller. But I love it!!
