Okay, the movie was a little over the top, but absolutely no one with any intelligence watched the movie and thought that it was in any way historically accurate. The persians may have been depicted as monsters, but that is just what happens in these kind of movies based on historical events. Pathfinder and Braveheart did this with the English and Vikings. They're just movies loosely based on historical events. 300 is no different.

300 gave the American people a twisted interpretation of the Persians and it's history. If they made a film like this depicting Blacks as evil monster slaves there would riots all over. And feminizing our Xerxes like that was terrible. How would you like it if I made a film about King Arthur and depicted him as demonic.

i agree that the movie 300 was Exageration i would  say its about 90% true the movie dosnt say that the 300 did stop Xerxes and by the way they were 7000 Greek who was there! and the movie say some think about the athenians were { boy lovers } if you want the truth there is video called { the last stand of the 300 } .
