This is the full version of the beat made in the beat making video. This has some nice piano with realistic trumpets that really make a it a beautiful beat. We made this beat with One Tone: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheOfficialTone Go check him out. Please comment, like, and subscribe. Thanks - GGB Productions

  • Wow how could i get this beat without the tags?

how much do you guys charge for a beat?

  • @PJ619Dalcour $20 for non-exclusive, and $100 for exclusive. there would be 1 tag from both GGB Productions and One Tone in the exclusive but they would be very quite. for non-exclusive there will be 3 but they will also be very quite and almost unnoticeable. thanks for your interest. we can also work something would if you have some problems with the given information.

  • I see logic is for mac os only, what would you recommend for windows? I currently use FL Studio but I am aware there is pro tools, reason, ableton live etc

  • @dacads FL Studio is pretty good, but in the end i recommend that u get pro tools mainly because its the software that is used in the music industry the most. Reason has great sounds but i wouldnt recommend u using it as ur main DAW because it cant record audio from an external source. i havent personally used ableton live that much but i have heard great things about it but pro tools along with VST's is what i recommend.

  • What interface did you use to record?

  • @BeatPerfection M-Audio Fast Track Pro

  • @dacads Yeah, I agree with you. Most of the new hip-hop out there is being created with only software samples and it's not necessarily bad. If you look at the new "hitmakers" out there you'll notice most of them are using Fl Studio (I'm thinking of Kane Beatz and Boi-1da, who I think is really good), Reason (DJ Khalil) or Logic (Just Blaze, who's great! tho he also uses MPCs), so to me, music-making should be all about just having fun and creating new original ideas, no matter what you use.

  • @BeatPerfection Yeah that comes down to the type of beat too..like there are many youtube producers who make some great beats without live instruments..and are better than some popular producers such as Lex Luger who make repetitive beats with the same shit such as 808 kick everytime..there is not much talent there but yeah I think live instruments definitely makes a better and fresher beat..but this isn't always necessary for a good song.

  • @dacads Yeah it really comes down to what you're most comfortable with. What matters is the producer, not the gear. if you look at the producers who have the best quality, they tend to use not software, but real musicians and live instrumentation. Think of Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Dj Quik, The Neptunes, etc. They all record real instruments to create their beats, whether they play them themselves or hire other studio musicians to play them. Of course that's out of the question for people like us.

  • @BeatPerfection LOL good way of putting it bro..well tbh there are many great producers both on youtube and in music industry who use FL Studio but then again there's many that use Reason and then there's the ones that use Logic on mac etc..it all comes down to personal preference I guess and what works best for you

  • @dacads yeah, Reason is especially good at that, and it has way better sounds than FL studio. Think of it as FL Studio on steroids

  • @BeatPerfection Yeah I think I'll check out Reason, I'll still be able to record from a midi keyboard into the piano roll like in FL Studio though right?

  • @dacads @TheGGBProduction only Pro Tools doesn't use VSTs, it uses RTAS plug-ins, which are harder to find and are usually sold by Digidesign (Avid now) themselves for hefty prices. If you want to make beats with Pro Tools, forget about it, get Reason 5, which now has a recording feature (Record 1.5). IF you want to record beats you created using an outside source (like an MPC or a synth), or record vocals and have good in-the-box mixing options, Pro Tools is the way to go.

  • @TheGGBProduction Ok most producers I listen to on Youtube use logic/reason/fl studio but I'll check out pro tools. Thanks for your reply man.
