  • Can you evacuate though?

  • @doverpoint1 Good question! I don't want to find out. The highways would be packed so maybe it would be a good idea to buy a boat!

  • @pag2525 I'd say most likely not. Route 1A gets gridlocked on a normal day with people trying to leave. There will be many people stuck in the danger zone, and most likely many people will die if ever there is a nuclear disaster.

My family has a summer home in Woodstock St, Seabrook. That's how I know.

  • @VulcanTrekkie45 yeah, there's no way you could escape by the highway, that's why I recommend a boat! i shot this video on the day they were testing the alarms, the first time in 20 years. there was no one checking to see if they were working. these alarms are just for show and we are all gonners if there's an accident. i'm just keeping my fingers crossed there isn't one.

  • I remember going to plum island as a kid (lived in Amesbury, MA) and distinctly remember the sign that said "No Evacuation Possible"

  • @KingOfTheClutch I remember that sign to!

  • @ HyperFoxTails this is not all clear tone. It is on air raid sirens but not nuclear sirens. For these sirens all clear tone is hi lo tone

  • Have seen these along the main drags at Hampton beach and always wondered what they were. Lets just hope we never here them for any reason other than a routine test.

  • @HyperFoxTails All Clear was discontinued after 1955. "and adding an all-clear signal, defined as three one-minute steady blasts, with two-minutes of silence between blasts" -Developed by AT&T in 1950. This IS Alert tone, and has been since sirens came out. The new set of signals were the Alert Signal (unchanged) and the Take-Cover Signal (previously the Attack Signal). The All-Clear signal was deleted because leaving a shelter while fallout was present would be hazardous.

  • @ACAPenetrator50 Then why are they still using that tone, which means :"ALL CLEAR" "NOON TONE" "TEST" A ture alert tone sounds like, what they used for Air Raid. It's sonds like there is trouble and gets people to really take cover.. Not just stand outside and try to figur out why it's sounding the steady tone in a emergency, More people call 911 when they hear the steady tone to find out why the sirens are sounding.

  • @HyperFoxTails This is not All Clear. All Clear was discontinued decades ago. This siren is in Alert.

  • @doverpoint1 On a ALL CLEAR tone?

  • @ pag2525 Sorry my screen name got changed for some reason. This is my sisters mine is doverpoint1.

  • @pag2525 I don't have a boat I have a dingy
