  • Most of the banks are looking to repay TARP now... Amex was the first to get started on it this past week. For the time being, TARP isn't being applied to the capital issuances. The bank stocks retracted a bit today as the common equity was sold. I'm curious to see what happens in the next 2-4 months.

  • This common stock - couldn't Government buy it from BofA out of TARP funds?

    How do we know that this kind of thing isn't happening wholesale.?
