Thrill the World Los Angeles October 24 2009

In my attempt to break a world record (with a broken toe, no less!), I joined this year's Thrill the World in Los Angeles at LA Live. The official count of registered participants was 3,000 in this location alone, though I was surrounded by people that just decided to jump in at the last moment, so the real count was much higher. The worldwide numbers aren't in yet but I'm hearing between 20-50,000 people.

This was the third straight run of the dance. The first was at 5:30 PST and we were asked to dance it again right away "to make it official," whatever that means. The third time was optional and I optioned not to, because I don't have health insurance and I'm not method enough to lose a toe in my pursuit to be a dancing zombie.
