@drjd2real They're actually MTX Audio's equivalent to the CVR. They're very comparable in sound, but MTX's research states that the TR55 should be a louder subwoofer than the CVR. Personally, we're huge fans of both of those subwoofers.

When we tested these they actually sounded a lot better than the 4500's. It is hard for our microphone to pick up the true sound. We will try to get another video up for the Thunder Round 5500 subs with better audio.

I have two of these hooked up to a kenwood 1800 watt class d mono amp in a ported box. i think these subs sound great they hit the high bass levels good but also has the deep bass to back it up.

Why do people always use paper to show the airflow. you got some badass bass when you break cd´s that way. my 5" midbass can do that to a paper. :P

guys out there.. dont buy anything mtx thats under a 7500 but if they are to much for u just go online and look around alot.. u can find realllyy good deals
