Is this an improvisation of the theme? How could she play with totally different counting from what was written?

I totally 100% agree with cdpiano27. I did not pay attention to the title, and I thought how could I have never heard this piece before. I think this is like the guy who sang like a virgin in the American Idol, this is just the piano version.
