This is a demonstration of the 67v (nominal), 35A Hi-Power Cycles Electric Mountain Bike. The hill is a 10.75% grade from where the bike started to the top of the hill (rise of 100ft in 930ft) Motor is a (underated) 400W continuous BMC brushless, geared motor. It handles the extra load fine. Top Speed verified with GPS is 36 MPH (offroad use only!) Next in line is a 600w continuous, 1000w continuous, and 1.2kw motor. We should have tests in the next couple weeks! Visit www.hi-powercycles.com

  • 7lbs weight battery to get you 35miles on a geared BMC 400w? Someone is telling lies.

  • Not at all. Test it for yourself!

  • hard to believe that does 36mph unless you where going down a hill full pelt.

  • 35.6 MPH-- Verified with GPS, tires at 38 PSI, outside temp 81 degrees F, 215 lbs rider, 2 way average.

  • dude you are my hero

  • waaaaaaayyyyyyyyy over priced

  • do u go in mud

  • Okay then, 35miles, on what surfacel? Polished glass? And at what speed??

Dont get the wrong impression....I am not trying to diss your product, I just happen to be sceptical.

Today I managed around 12 miles on crap roads and into the teeth of a strong wind. I used up 3/4 the capacity of a 20Ah battery and had an average speed of 22 MPH.

  • Hey I found an electric scooter that goes 24mph under 500. Full shocks too

  • good luck with that...

  • whats fastest ebike i can get for under 500$. No kit, just the whole bike

  • great job,I love the fact that you did your homework, looks like a blast,Calif?
