  • Now thats a race

  • @2mchvnm The new GT500 Stang will be a power house, and a top performer in the Mustangs fleet no doubt. But it has absolutely nothing on the ZR1. I mean look at the 1/4 times between it and even the 750hp Super Snake 12 to a 10.6.

Mustangs have the power but are and will always be held back from true performance by that SRA and the skinny tires Ford continues to use. The GT500 is going to struggle with the ZL1 in everything but top speed do to sheer traction.

  • @Turbo05gt Apparently he's too ignorant to realize that fact.

  • psssssh my sedan has 160hp LOL

  • @2mchvnm and yes if someone decides to customize an already high performance vehicle by putting a 4.0 whipple, hell why not even whipple's 8.3L supercharger. my point is yeah, you customize any car enough it'll be fast but bone stock from the factory, are where everyones ratings are going, because of Shelby's GT500 Super Snake, corvette is going to have to step it up.

  • @2mchvnm and your very judgemental. I love ford, check my videos, I own a 2002 mustang gt premium full boltons and big plans later, I love that car. and as for your second reply yes the gt500 pushing 650hp 600tq, thats amazing, however numbers on paper dont mean anything until we see what they can do on the road. like I said zr1 is a lot lighter and aerodynamic than either mustangs. again we wont know for sure until we see some tests done, no reason to get mad dude, its just talking.

  • @TradeMark2003 what's that 12 more HP than the ZR1 and a full 71 HP more than the Camaro??? what's that 200+ MPH top speed... sounds to me like it's right there with the ZR1 in every aspect... and the motor is actually built for boost... wait til someone does a 4.0liter whipple swap, then you'll complain... about how it's not fair... even though the Mustang weighs more and has a smaller engine... GO HOME dude you have nothing, u probly drive your mom's car and dream of a Civic B16 hatch

  • @TradeMark2003

Shelby GT500's 5.8-liter supercharged V8 engine is rated at an astonishing 650 HP and 600 lb-ft of torque. It's almost as if Ford's adding the power just so it can shove its snakeskin-boot-clad foot right up the NACA ducts of its bowtie-bedecked competitor.

That's right, in fact, I'm wondering why they're even bothering to call it a GT500 anymore. Shouldn't they be calling it the GT 650 or something more appropriate for a muscle car with a 200 MPH top speed

  • @TradeMark2003 you're a tool and obviously a Ford hater so what ever, and just to straighten you out.... I was talking about the Shelby GT500, I believe to be "gramatically correct" you are actually talking about the Shelby Super Snake, not the GT500. PS go do some reading (if you can read)
