Shoalin kung fu maybe derived from india I agree BUT NOT other chinses martials, not to comtion the World!!! Chinese soldiers have been practising martial arts right back to the early SHANG dynasty ( 16th century BC to 11th century BC ) FAR earlier than the spread of Buddism to China!! the indian Kalaripayattu is also only a 3000 years old art.

you are very right in saying so, I cant see why anyone would disagree with this. It is simple fact. I wouldnt say the whole of asia though. India and the recently created country by the name of pakistan that used to be a part of india were or was a huge contributor to many historical events. Just not many that we hear about today. But India is actually a very old country, a large country too, and the religious cultural influence of india is huge too. We can see this in any history channel

All europe was influenced by Romans. And so?

The whole world was influenced by catholic colonialism. And so?

The East is nowadays strongly influenced by the West. And so?

It depends on what one wants to mean with "martial arts". In ancient babylonia, ancient greece, ancient egypt it existed martial arts.
In ancient India and in ancient China too.
The modern kungfu, karate, taekwondo and so on are probably born from the fusion of local stiles with some kind of martial art borrowed through misticism and religions. India and China had the greatest parts in that.
