So, this is how you tack a Marshallese sailing canoe. The canoes are an outrigger design. Because of that you always want the outrigger to be windward, or upwind. Good, but it means you have a problem when you want to go back. Solution: don't turn the boat around; turn the sail around. Easy to say, takes some experience to do (good teaching helps).
