The California Lottery's TV game show, "Make Me a Millionaire," awarded $152,000 in cash and prizes to 12 lucky contestants this week.
Henry Lathan Jr., a cable subcontractor from Oakland, won $44,000 on the Safe Cracker game segment and has ambitious plans for his winnings. In addition to planning a September wedding, he plans to take his five kids to Disneyland, and, if they dont spend it all, he would like to make a down payment on a house.
Two contestants on this weeks Lucky Penny game segment won a new car. Alexandra Sotelo of Los Angeles and Lelan Gardner of Chino had a few nervous moments before finally winning their new wheels. Gardner didnt mind sweating for a moment or two, exclaiming I look good all the time!
