It makes you wonder doesnt it- I think some american / european artwork designers at the time really were determined to make some cover inserts as "camp" as possible. I still think Strider takes the biscuit though!
Such a joy to collect the JP releases with the mostly sublime artwork ;-)

The Genesis equivalent is pretty horrendous, where's the soul! Thankfully the industry has the Japanese to save the day on the "cover art" front every time! Top marks on 600 too mate, well deserved. :D

Congratulations on the 600 subs matey! Well deserved! Up and onwards. Say I am not sure about the Genesis version being better than the Jap version. It's 80's / 90's glam chicks vs anime chicks. I guess my Dutch brain just misunderstands here. I prefer the Jap version :P
