I love Symphony X, I've been listening to their music ever since Divine wings was out. But only now I'm trying to grasp their lyrics from a different angle. I think they contain a lot of hidden messages, and now as we see the world going mad infront of our eyes, reading the lyrics really makes you wonder. Especially in this album.

It's actually much, much more then just great music and vocals. :-)

@PowerChorder999 Must admit, was rather disappointed with their latest album... :'( It was a fckin' good album, don't get me wrong, but I just thought it wasn't as good or as memorable as the previous ones. Still, would love to see them live next time their in the UK! :D And V is fucking awesome, +1 like for you good sir!

'When All is Lost' was the only song I liked.

When they promised a an album that continues the path of 'Paradise Lost', but had elements of 'V', I thought they would make another album like V, with a heavier sound. Something with songs that sound like 'Evolution (The Grand Design)'.

Instead, they made a new 'Paradise lost', with a few riffs you could swear you heard before in V. I also like Allen's Clean voice much more than his rough one...

Russel Allen could sing in any musical with that voice. His voice can be subtle, harsh, raw, weak, powerful, emotional. He is just a beast in singing. Sometimes I imagine a duet of Russel and Daniel Gildenlöw. Daaaaaaamn....

God, I love Symphony X. Especially this album. The concept and lyrics are so awesome! It would be tough to choose a favorite, but this song very well might be it. But the last 5 or 6 songs on this album are easily some of the greatest songs ever written.
