Breezy fall afternoon... 50' x 30' tarp... what to do? Well, you could drive one of those spiral steel stakes into the ground, tie a nylon rope to the stake, and tie the other end of the rope to a corner of the tarp - using SECURE (i.e., non-collapsible) knots, of course. Then you could go to the other end of the tarp, pick it up, head into the wind, and hold on...
