Kevin did the movie "Taking Chance" about U.S.Marine Cpl Chance Phelps who was killed in Iraq. Kevin played Col. Mike Strobel who brought chance's body back home from Dover AFB MD (the military's morgue) to Dubois Wyoming.
It was very sad. Kevin came back to Dubois last year for a concert for the Chance Phelps Foundation headed up by his mom.
Kevin, as a WY resident, I thank you very much.
We had over 900 people @ Chance's funeral. Dubois Pop 900.

After the film was released, Spacey did some live performances of Darin material. Man, I would've killed to have seen one of those concerts! Beyond The Sea was truly a labor of love for him.

There is a nice scene in the beginning when Bobby Darin is criticized for playing himself when he was so old. I thought that was a great way to suspend belief about Spacey being too old to play Bobby. Great movie and amazing song. Terrific.

Spacey have always looked that age in all his movies.

@gladietita : Sorry, but I'm not buying it. Darin was 37 when he died; Spacey looks all of 47+ in this film.
