  • As a boy this freaked me out so much that it's stayed with me all these years. There's something terrifying about the way that woman lifts her veil and looks right into the camera like it's the VIEWER that she's threatening! Mix in that creepy music and that sinister voice and you have the makings of many a nightmare! Thanks so much for posting it! I too would love to get it on DVD.

  • Interesting to think about how much different the movie audiences were back then. This film project would never get off the ground in the present day. Not without gallons of blood, that is.

  • @Pallindrom27

    I know!!! Me too!!!

  • I am now 45 years old, and I DO remember this freaking me out as a kid!!!

  • @jasonbishop707 You can purchase it literally in some Dollar Stores throughout the country.

  • @Karloff12969 use shazam on iphone

  • Six people didn't look to the heptagon....

  • This was the director's first work; he made a handful of cheapo horror films (So Sad About Gloria, Revenge of Bigfoot) before he found success as a producer of TV sitcoms. I sometimes wonder if this was meant to kick off a TV show; I can imagine each episode starting with a zoom into a tombstone and then launching into the story of how that person died. Too bad it's so padded with scenes repeated over and over and over and over...

  • The scene where the woman places the curse on the three boys (7:15) had a lasting effect on me. That music and those eyes staring right through you is very chilling and nightmarish. Speaking of the music, I've only heard that particular piece of classical music one other time, and it was in a Ren and Stimpy cartoon back in the 80's. I would really love to know what it is called and who composed it.

  • Where can I buy this??? I remember this from when I was a kid. It's awesome!!!

  • @Pallindrom27 same here..this stayed with me since i first saw it as a kid one afternoon when i was home alone..freaked me out badly..never forgot that creepy mother...i am 45 now still find it spooky

  • @Pallindrom27 You are right. That woman is spooky as Hell. Got a shock just scrolling in. She´s really scary.
