  • Or just y-2x=-1/4 is fine for most teachers. because you don't change the equation. they want the correct slpe, in this case the slope wouldbe supposed to be -2x not -4 because you'd have to be adding the process of reducingg.

  • I get it but what if you have y=2/5+12 . . . . you wouldnt multiply both sides by the reciprical . . .but by the denomonater right .??
