  • nice idea

  • Huh, that's weird. I've had three (the first two were pinched by my mother-in-law and then my brother when they came to stay and were amazed at how much faster they boil) and I've had no problems at all (nor have they).

I've just come back from holiday in Spain where we were using an ordinary kettle and it was such a pain in the butt by comparison -- seemed to take forever to boil.

Hope third time lucky works out for you.

  • I have had 2 ecokettles, one has been a replacement. Reason why it has been replaced is the water that comes out once boiled is undrinkable. It has been a £30 pain in the butt because the replacement kettle also makes the water undrinkable. Might give them one more chance with a 3rd tbc
