@dharmaseed it really makes me sad to have to do it,its like seeing a kid who sticks his hand in fire and gets burned then turns around and sticks his hand back in the fire knowing it will still burn him,then when you tell him it will burn him stop it he then for a third time sticks his hand in the fire,and continues the process this is what it is like talking to 95% of chirstians.and its always the same story over and over again(beleive or burn)

@Buddhist1986 You cannot possibly imagine how much satisfaction it gives me when someone puts dogma-spouting fanatics who come to Buddhist videos in their place. Thank you.
-
@N00bcrunch3r Not necessarily.
-
Or in otherwords, you don't give a damn?
-
@N00bcrunch3r I reckon I should let God decide what is heresy and what is not.
-
Oh. Okay.
I'm Catholic, but you can't deny the truth the Buddha found.

@a55kiker - Hi friend,
Budhism is a philosophy, not a religion.

@Ziggurathss I disagree. Some schools of Buddhism recognize many gods, and some recognize none. Most Buddhists focus on freedom of personal attatchments and enlightenment simply because trying to concieve god is a waste of time because it is impossible to comprehend. The goal of enlightenment is, like in Hinduism, to escape the birth-death-rebirth cycle, thus acknowledging, but not in depth, a reality beyond this one, after death.

@a55kiker -Faith usually has a collective nature.
Buddhism & Hindoisme focuses on the inner and the individual exploiration.
So self-discovery and self-examination are some sort of a key to develop and exploire the personal spiritual properties. We cant find answers in books but only in ourself and by ourself..

@Ziggurathss uhh. no, there is no central god. certain schools of buddhism see certain figures as aids on the way to nirvana only.... And nothing exists. everything is dependent on one another. only enlightened beings can comprehend this.. just as Christians ONLY know of heaven and believe in such a place because Jesus preached it.

@WillDrache Yes maybe there is no central God. Maybe we are all little Gods ourselfs.
