Andy shows his 93 Honda Shadow VT600CD VLX and the very first mod done to it since he purchased it. We drilled out the baffles and made the stock pipes sound much better and louder! He was pleased and now wants to get Cobra drag pipes or something to that affect. www.DaBikerLady.com

  • how does it effect the power of the bike with out the baffles

  • @cdmdragons Actually, there has been no change in power. I think there is a more noticeable difference with after market pipes. Hope that helps

  • If you really want to get that puppy loud and for a budget, re-jet the carbs and cut the whole muffler/ baffle off the pipe. You'll get more hp with the straight pipes and dynojet combo. After you do that, go to auto zone and get the slash cut exhaust tips and now you have a custom straight pipes with a better sound and performance.

  • I will pass on the info to Andy. Thanks for the tip!
