2 Northern Soul Instrumentals - The In Crowd - Grapevine

I think I first heard Grapevine played by (discovered by?) Stafford dj Steve Smith back in the 80s and this one really knocked me out! just listen how it builds plus those awesome strings...full of atmosphere and a real beauty! ..the flipsides 'cat'chy too as you'll hear, recorded in 1965.

Thank you for posting these 1965 instrumental classics. This group was all over the place label-wise in the 60s, and were the backup group for the 60s dance classic by Jon & Robin, "Do It Again A Little Bit Slower" (1967). Great tunes!! DAVEDJ

@SherwoodofRobin Pre-1969, there are 11 singles by a group called The In Crowd, and the only ones I CANNOT verify are Swan 4204-You're Gonna Miss Me/Let's Shindig, Swan 4204-Klink/Let's Shindig (both 1965), and Musicor 1111-Do the Surfer Jerk/Girl in the Black Bikini (1965). 2 on Hickory, 2 on Tower, 2 on Viva, 2 on Abnak are all vocals.
