Looking For Gold Episode 01 - The Loud Mine

As new members of the LDMA, we decide to try our luck at sluicing for gold at the Loud Mine in Cleveland, Georgia. I find out the limitations of my Keene mini sluice, or maybe it's just the slow water and flat creek bottom. If you have any tips, I'm all ears! This is day 1 of our 2 day gold adventure.

@C0017A - Thanks Randy! Much Appreciated! We both got gold fever so bad that nothing could discourage us. It's always nice to find gold, it's like a treasure hunt. Even when it's tiny, as long as we can see it, we are happy!

it aint the keene sluice, its the fact that loud mine is just a good camping property.

i have seen 5 inch dredges work that place bank to bank and get 2 or 3 specks, PERIOD. most all the eastern ldma/gpaa properties are worked out, period.

there is gold on these properties, however, they would have to let people work other areas other than the laid out areas. ( they won't) due to "safety" reasons.

if they took an excavator and dug, then you might find gold there. ldma?...k.o.a.

the loud mine property has been raped, bank to bank, top to bottom for 30 years. if you find gold there, someone sneaked up, and put it in a pan. i spent many weekes there over the past 9 years.great place if you want a good, clean place to camp and friendly people. if you want gold at all, must go somewhere eles 20,000 people aven't already been.

I have the Keene Super Mini Sluice 51A, same one as you showed in your video and it’s wonderful, any sluice you set up wrong is not going to work the way it was intened and you have a laundry list of problems the way you set yours up in the river, so stop misinforming people on a product you obviously know nothing about.
