Rep. Gutierrez On Immigration Reform
Today

Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) joined Newsmakers to discuss the immigration reform legislation that was introduced on Thursday. The plan would force undocumented workers to admit to breaking the law and require workers to carry biometric cards affirming their eligibility for employment. The measure comes ahead of an immigrant rights rally in Washington today.

  • LITTLE RAT FACED CREEP, COMMMUNIST!

  • We wouldn't be having any of these "issues" if we had actually enforced existing immigration laws and had actually secured the border.. But, Gutierrez would probably be opposed to that.

  • Immigration Reform will not be like they think. Only a very small pool wld get it. Im glad they did hold it back. It is not fair to push everybody else back and let them come to the front. I dont think so!!!

  • I heard on the news today. The Mr. President took the immigration reform off hi agenda? If he does? What happen to all the promised he did to all the immigrants.

Any way is the immigration reform include all of the immigrants or only for ilegal immigrants? Can someone response to this ?

    Thank you

  • @guillervelasquez

this is one gringo that says more power to you guys.....i wish that i could help in some way to help this bill pass....i mean really, i can't see how people that enjoy their $2 burgers and the like can sit there and say they haven't benefited from the blind eye we as Americans have turned on immigration policy, just to justify our types of lifestyles.....if we are going to change the rules, then wipe the slate clean and make it fair for all.....vaya con dios Latinos!!!

  • two things that the new upcoming immigration reform should do is to be very tough on frauds and check the applicant's records also on their own native country.

also everybody should be alert about forgery activity to denounce.

because the the amnesty done in 1987 was a true banquet of frauds.

today we have technology to halt forgers and put them in jail.

  • If we had an open border most of Mexico's doctors and other professionals would head North, Large American and Canadian corporations would buy up the country. We need to fix the problem of the undocumented here somehow but I have to confess I do not know how.

  • i agree with
