You're dog is so adorable. Please tell me that the people who threw him into the road were prosecuted!

What a cool dog. My rottweiler that passed away would chase a semi truck down the street, but when it is storming out or if we use the vaccum cleaner he would run to the basement and hide under the stairs until it stops. The only thing my chihuahuas I have now are scared of, are bugs. I remember a big ant crawled on my chihuahuas paw and he started shaking it for like 1 minute straight and running around to try and get it off.

It's not strange for him to hide. He is denning. It's perfectly normal for dogs to do that. That's his cave. He needs a place to hide to feel safe for his mental well-being.
nice dog. how old is he? and what kind of dog is

@cabforever My little man (~Hunter) is around 8. He is a rescue dog. 7 years ago, in Daytona, 3 spring breakers found him on the road, wandering and decided to YouTube him. 1 had a camera and the other two swung him and threw in the road. He needed surgery on his back and hips. It was all over the news. I paid for his surgery and took him home. He is now my best buddy in the world.
The vet thinks he is half Husky and half Chow. Whatever he is...I love him so.

does this happen during storms or fireworks? my dog hides in the bathtub when she is scared of loud noises...not to criticize but when you opened the curtain your dog didnt look too happy about anything... didnt look like it was just in there to relax

My baby Hunto was sleeping when I surprised him. He has always loved going in th empty bath, behind the curtain. I think he loves the coolness and the privacy.
~Hunter loves everyone!
