This is a video to introduce a book titled 한국어발음
You can buy this book here http://www.hangulpark.com/product/productDetail.asp?pcode=1144
You can also find the following site helpful.

At the end of the video, I couldn't finish it properly because the memory was not enough.
Sorry about that.

  • Hi, I have a favor.

Could you please explain the grammatical rules in using 은, 는, and 이, 가. I have two books about Korean language, however, neither of them explains these particles extensively. The books just indicates that they are subject and topic makers, but it is not explained when and how to use them.

    Thank you.

  • Do you want to know the difference between 은/는 and 이/가? or when to use 은 rather than 는, and 이 rather than 가?

  • Thanks for the reply.

I already know when to use 은 and 는, and 이 and 가.

I want to know the difference between 은/는 and 이/가 because when speaking or writing, I can't decide whether to use a topic marker or a subject marker.

Thank you and I hope you will help me.

  • It's not an easy thing to explain, I can't fully explain it with just several examples.

I'll work on how to make this possible later on.

This time I'll just give you one sample.

    a) 철수가 집에 있다.

    b) 철수는 집에 있다.

These both sentences can be translated as 철수 is at home, but the sentence b) has implication that somebody else besides 철수 might not be home.

  • i can read korean a little bit but how can i speak it ? i mean how can i use it

    ?? ...

  • Hanja is better, trust me.

  • im going to buy a krean dictionary for sure....i love books.......im reaaly anticipating

  • in english, a subject and topic is the same thing right?

  • I am surprised at the visual clarity of this video. For a Youtube video, the text is actually quite clear. I am an intermediate-advanced student of Korean and can appreciate the quality of this video. There is not really anything advanced here with regard to Korean grammar, but it is still a nice overview of what one can expect in terms of a basic-intermediate course in Korean.

  • I know nothing about the korean language at all, but I want to learn it beacuse I love korean drama's any advice?

  • Thanks for showing this,

I'm going to try to get this Book.
