Convert all m4a and m4p files into mp3 using iTunes

Ignore that and in itunes just go to preferences>import settings and change import settings to MP3 format. Then right click (or apple click if you're on a mac) on the song or songs you wanna change to MP3 and select 'create MP3 version'. That easy. no needed for burning discs and all that nonsense!!

hey i just wanted to say that i found an easier way.... i went to the advance option next to edit and pressed convert to mp3

@JC1048 You never used to be able to do that with Apple's stupid DRM. I don't use iTunes anymore, because I find WMP 12 is a far better utility.

All you have to do is go to the file on itunes right click and select "create MP3 version" and it will create an mp3 version of that song in the itunes music folder. Simple and Easy!

@dancegal8 You can only do that if it is an unprotected song. Like .aac and such.

@dancegal8 At least it used to be that way. Maybe iTunes got rid of their pesky DRM issues.
