With all due respect. I take offense to that. That is the accent of an Aboriginal man from Saskatchewan. A Cree speaker like myself. That accent is a part of Canadian Heritage. We should not disrespect our fellow Canadians with disparaging remarks.

I served on board this ship summer of 1979, not a very happy time against my wishes for an intended career, but some idiot career manager and officers apparently knew better. Seeing it on the bottom is karma.

I got to walk on the ship and check it out before watching them sink it. I was only 8 years old if this was in 97. I remember waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and then it went down. I never knew anything about the ship but its nice to finally learn something now after all these years. An RCMP just died diving down to visit this ship, RIP.

It was stupid to sink a good destroyer. They should have just sank some cargo or fishing ship instead
