Assassins Creed Gentle Push Fail - solution in annotations and description.

I can't figure out the second task in the games intro tutorial. I can't manage to "gentle push" my way through the crowd. As far as I can tell, I'm doing what it told me to do. I walk forward and press the gentle push button to make my way through the crowd. But, every time I attempt it, I fail. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to walk slower? Faster? Do I need to gentle push more? Less? I can't believe how difficult this is for me! Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

EDIT: I've since figured it out. I didn't notice that it said to "hold" the button down. I was just pressing it repeatedly. Thanks you to all of those who pointed that out for me.

@infidelcaution Sometimes when you are playing a game, it's easy to just glance at the instructions. I (and apparently many others) saw the word "press" and the button "B" and proceeded to keep pressing "B." Personally, I think the instructions would have been better if they simply read "Hold the B Button."

@MrDarkNite100 It's called a minor oversight. I'm sure you've had plenty. Like how you've overlooked life's basic lesson on being polite. I suppose I (and many others) Just glanced over the instructions and saw the word "Press" and the button "B" when we got to this part. And since it starts working a little at first, it's easy to make the mistake. I'm glad I posted this video since obviously I wasn't alone in my oversight.
