@StuPadazzo I agree.
He should change them over time, these hoses and tubes.
Like in different colors to fit the season like red ones for x-mas, and mixed colored ones with his birthday and so on.
But there is something missing, an engine bay window like some Ferrari's have, so you can always see the hoses and tubes.
Whats also missing is 20 more kilograms of wiring and connectors for x-mas lights.

One thing I don't like on the Citroens I own (two ZX, one Saxo cup, a C15D and a jumper truck) is the chaotic wiring. I imagine the trouble you had during this rebuild if you don't have a wiring manual. I do have the wiring manuals for the ZX but so many of the wires are the same color. Alfa Romeo did better on the 164, wiring is neat and well color coded. Still I love the Citroens and I love the Alfa. Great cars.

beautifully done. What I couldn't help but thinking, looking at this, is RARELY do I ever see one of these in real life that isn't that brown...and if it isn't brown, it's milk-truck white. You would think there would be more in "sexy colours" like the rouge grenadine.

You know what that car needs under the hood? ...about 40 more kilograms of hoses and tubes... BTW: this is probably among the best photographed car vids on the net. Nice detail, tastefully done.
