the original sound is MUCH better.........sound engeniers of audi worked on it......and Milltek whatever try to keep up, and shame theirselve with this sound...

Hi and thanks for your comments. Do they relate to this video or have you actually heard the S5 with the Milltek exhaust fitted? It's very difficult to record exhaust sounds accurately especially once they've been compressed for use over the internet and isn't always a true indication of how it sounds in real life.

Indeed we do check the sound levels and outside the car, this resonated system measures just 1db louder than the standard system and inside the car it's 4.2db louder. Volume isn't what the resonated system is about, it's designed for customers who want the increased performance and response without a significant increase in volume. We will be releasing a non-resonated version of this exhaust shortly which will cater for customers who would like a louder exhaust.

are you gonna develop a system for the A5 1.8?? or can the 4.2 system be adapted to the 1.8? i'm searching for a catback but not easy to find with some nice sound

Hi and thanks for your interest in Milltek products. We most certainly will be doing a system for your car - it's not the same as the V8 but is likely to be the same as the A4 B8 1.8T as they share the same floorplan. We have one arriving any day now so it shouldn't be too long to wait.

I agree it's not the best of videos to show the exhaust sound. It's slightly louder than stock but deeper and more sporty. The non-resonated version will be in development very shortly and we'll post another (hopefully better) video when we've completed it.

Milltek on a RS 4 anyday...... Must admit sounds abit weak on ye olde tunes of the pipes.
