this is fun! first i consolidate my dish network $40/mo to hulu and other online tv shows so i save money there and now i got the ooma thing a few months ago and no more at&t. All i have to pay is internet! I shall start stealing ze intanet from ze neibors!! [evil laugh...]

Instead of buying additional scouts, you could take the phone wire coming out of the hub, and plug it into an existing phone jack. Then, all the jacks in your house will be active.
Just make sure that you are disconnected from the phone company in the phone box usually located on the side of your house, or your ooma hub will start to smoke

From Vonage $20/MRC, to T-Mobile @Home $10/MRC, now Ooma $250/OneTime. Schweeet....

Vonage is not cheap with tax you will pay about $31 per month. You have to call them if you want to add a phone, have to call them if you change your modem. The Indian customer service agents speak pretty good English. I decided to get Ooma because of problems I recently experienced and the cost

Interesting service. Revolting ad. Presumably intended to appeal to the kind of people who have their children record their voicemail message...
I have an ooma and it's pretty awesome!
