Animated by Monica Garrison and scored by Andrei Pohorelsky, the new single sentence animation for Lynne Tillman's "The Original Impulse" may haunt your dreams.

The sentence reads: "She roared here and soared there, dwarfed by three massive white columns as she and her best college friend mugged before a filmless camera."

The story can be found in full in Electric Literature No. 5. Subscribe at http://electricliterature.com/electric-literature-store.php

Single Sentence Animations are creative collaborations. The writer selects a favorite sentence from his or her work and the animator creates a short film in response.
