Reverse snobs please show yourselves. You piss me off. I get many e telling me 'oh, private school can't be that much better than a state school'. Mine is i feel. At a £30,000 price a year, though, and it does affect finances (which get quite tight every 2 months when the bill arrives...) I don't know why they can continue to charge that much, but it's just the way it is. Not my problem really, just as long as I'm still there.
i would not want my kids going to the high schools where i live, but other districts have puplic schools well established, but their usually in ritzy neighborhoods, both my kids have gone to both public and private because of that matter i just mentioned.take it from experience when i say you REALLY need to way your options.free doesn't always mean quality and paying for schooling doesn't mean things will magically happen for your childs ed,its parent involvmentthat REALLY MATTERS,not the school.
@niceguyjtk That has nothing to do with the school you shit brick. Thats the fault of the kids themselves and their parents. Paying a shit ton of money to go to private school where you get the same education doesnt make you smarter. I went to public and only a handfull of kids in my class didnt graduate with us. And its not a fact that we couldnt pass a GED. You dont get to just make up facts willie nilllie.
@jcsgeddes You CHOOSE to buy choclate milk, but the rest of the country prefers plain, I think you should pay for both, after all choclate milk is a luxury you freakin nazi. Think of all the poor kids who cant afford choclate and you want to deprive them of free regular? Stupidity ad nauseum.
So you morons are saying that she should pay out of her pocket to send her kids to school and that she should also be forced to pay for your kids? So its ok for you to steal her money to pay for your kids. We should eleminate public schools, they suck, bad. Kids come out of them not being able to read. Its a fact that the majority of public school graduates cant pass a GED. Because..... well, there stupid. :) Seriously, fuck you libtard theifs, go live in China. Bitches.
I myself graduated from Cranbrook Kingswood last year and, although it does cost a lot of money, it was definetly worth it. I hated public school! The only thing I can suggest to you is perhaps talking to the school itself about scholarship and financial aid opportunities. There are a lot more than you think.
Isn't this a rather selfish question? SE Michigan could have great public schools if we chose to think of our communities instead of ourselves. I recommend you enroll your kids at Detroit Cass Tech and give them a real education.
Are you kidding me? You CHOOSE to send your kids to private school! Private school is a not a right but a luxury, one you obviously could barely afford. You made the choice, so live with it. Don't penalize kids who's parents couldn't afford (or just had the common sense not to pay for) private school! Stop being greedy. Shame on you.
