Let's Play Rift - Part 8 - Through the Fire and Flames

Part 8 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the new MMO, Rift, by Trion.

In this episode we head to the Sanguine Shores to fight our way through some Maelforge Embers and recover some relics, and I try out my skill at some Butchering (skinning) while Tallahassee tests his mining pick on some mineral nodes. I gain two new skills: 'Ground of Power' (+10% DMG dealt and +10% DMG received) plus 'Burning Shield' (absorbs DMG), and we discover a warrior trainer with MMO-obligatory bikini armor.

It's amazing to see that one big bug in MMO's, which is having to carry, for example, a pick to be able to do mining, is actually an issue in a recent game called Skyrim... It bugs me, since I'm playing a spellcaster which can't carry crap :P

@MrLegaroth definitely for MMOs, but i'd say because Skyrim is an 'RPG it's trying to be realistic. personally i can't stand the entire encumbrance mechanic either tho =)

@sambonz well i guesss thats cleared up, regardless of my ways with using keybinds its still a good wlktrough to watch, and its good to watch while i do nothing waiting for another job rejection XD
