For an ethical, environmentally friendly way to reduce overpopulation see "One Planet, One Child", also available with hindi, spanish, german and french subtitles.

@archymtln: I disagree, active checks such as mass extermination and wars are inhumane and ineffective when compared to passive checks such as worldwide free birth control.

I have the correct solution to the world overpopulation problem. You just need to go to my channel and look at my very poor quality clips (till I can replace them with better ones). Vasectomies and housing play major roles in the BALANCE of populations of all and any kind of Humans.

I think we should manage our population through passive means such as producing free birth control devices and procedures worldwide, making them easily available, and encouraging their use through media, cultural and religious pressure, and even government regulation.

@ccmm53095 Check out my speedy responses, haha...been too busy to remember this little idea I had, or come up with new ideas to vlog about. Your response is excellent though, and a passive system of regulating humanity's population could prove effective if implemented correctly. The problem with rules and regulations is that they can be so easily ignored and broken, damning the consequences. It's in our nature to reproduce and we find that urge too satisfactory to ignore.

Hi German
The answer is for people to have 2 or less children volontarily. Changes in our present tax system which reward having children and perhaps paying people to get visectomies or ligations could act as incentives. By educating and empowering women, providing birth control options, and assisting the developing countries in improving their economies...birth rates will decline. All win win stratagies.
Thanks for raising thie issue.
