OK. Sorry. You're right. I did a little web searching and found this exact craft. Strangely, it has the design of a flying disc, which was probably intentional. Well, in my mind it was definitely "unidentified" until I was able to identify it. So, in a sense, to some for a short while, it is a UFO.

OK, seems a little googling is all it takes to find out that this is a Nasa project and the chute failed. Thank goodness it never happened with the manned missions, what a way to go.

What are we watching and how was it filmed? Who is talking in the soundtrack? It must have been a camera with a powerful tele lens that could automatically track a moving object. The camera's position was such that it could film the impact a couple miles away and pan around the crash site, or was the later footage from a helicopter? Is there any info available?
