i use shure mm47 needles. I had some stanton scratch needles but the shures piss all over them. either clean the needle and set your tone arm up correctly or buy some shure needles as they in my opinion the best for scratching with. hectic
Hey dude, I know this is kind of a stupid question, but the belt on my belt drive turntable is broken so it won't move. Can i still scratch on it if the needle is in place?
i have orfoton dj s needle and headshell but when i tap it makes a drumming sound

its like impossible to scratch on belt drives anyway becuase the record takes to long to speed back up
