Fresh seafood is the name of the game on the Outer Banks. Local chef Jay Jones displayed his Japanese culinary skills using fresh Outer Banks seafood like tuna, shrimp, NC softshell crabs, oysters and more for this group in Duck, NC.

  • I knew it was crabs ;D

u can ear the shell too, btw are they baby crabs?

  • @JuicyFruitSweeT90 Yep, with softshell crabs you can eat the shell. They're the best when they're fried like this! And no, they aren't baby crabs.

  • It all looks great and cooked perfect if you ask me. Hopfully the seafood came from Dockside N' Duck.

  • private chef, everyone's dressed up, and eatin with their fingers...only in the south!!! GOD LOVE US

  • hmmmm, not sure if i agree about the tuna. a quick searing, but still nice and red in the middle?! looks pretty amazing to me! same with the oysters and softshell crabs...

  • tuna looked over-cooked... the sushi looked as if it had too much rice. everything else looked great
