Film Description: At fortysomething, straight-laced Cal Weaver (Steve Carell) is living the dream-good job, nice house, great kids and marriage to his high school sweetheart. But when Cal learns that his wife, Emily (Julianne Moore), has cheated on him and wants a divorce, his "perfect" life quickly unravels. Worse, in today's single world, Cal, who hasn't dated in decades, stands out as the epitome of un-smooth. Now spending his free evenings sulking alone at a local bar, the hapless Cal is taken on as wingman and protege to handsome, thirtysomething player Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling). -

Why didn't you include the end where Jacob says "Have you been drinking? I'll drive!" I loved it at the movies.

@purplehazedkisses When she says "its time to go home" she means like that she's going to go home because she doesn't want to deal with him, but he pretends she means that she wants to go home with him, so he says how shes being really forward by saying she wants to go home with him, but he will agree to go with her anyway.
He's twisting the meaning of her words basically.
And she ignores him basically and talks about how she's planning to watch SAW 3
