April 24, 1993: Dave Kellar, Robert Prentice, "Brent", and an unknown women chase a tornadic storm with multiple mesocyclones and funnels through Tulsa Oklahoma.

This was the same storm that spawned the F3 Catoosa funnel that flipped cars over on I-44.

  • I'm not being mean but this isn't a tornado this is a big cloud my dad is a weather guy he knows if that is one but sorry that isn't a tornado!

  • @longandloveless If your dad is a weather guy then he should know that a tornadic storm and a tornado are 2 different things. This is a video of a tornadic storm (supercell) that would eventually spawn a tornado.

  • Where were you guys at? going up Skelly?

  • I remember that. I was with the C.A.P. doing a exhibition thing around 51st and Yale (Yale-ish) at a hotel, and the wind was whipping from all directions, Hot and Cold winds... SCARY!!!

  • actually there is a tornado in the shot but it is so wrapped up in dust, blends in with the background and visibility is hindered by haze that it is impossible to see

  • Wasn't the Tulsa-Catossa storm an F4?

  • I was in my car heading to Tulsa from the east. I had to pull over and it was so windy it felt like someone was standing on the front bumper of my car jumping up and down! Thanks for posting the video.

  • that tornado picked up our car and put us ontop of another car infront of us

  • I lived in Catoosa and my house was in this tornado..... I was visiting family in Sapulpa and we were lucky to not be at home when this hit... Very scary!! Thanks for the upload I never knew what the storm looked like.
